“Is it just me or did Princess Leia just call us amazing?” Jax said with awe in his voice. 

“I think judging by that lightsaber and the lack of decorative hair,” Lilly responded, “It’s probably JEDI MASTER Leia.”

Lilly had seen some weird things since joining the waverider. Vikings worshipping Beebo, Cleopatra having Grood do her dirty work, and Katherine of Aragon slashing down zombies with a sword while she was regent of England. But this, oh this, had to top the cake. Not only was she staring at an alernate version of Leia, the Princess, Jedi, whatever was impressed by them.

“I’ve never seen this before,” Leia mused, “do you have the force? How are you wielding this fire..” She moved her hand forward and went to touch the fire but at almost an impulse Lilly and Jax split. And it seemed Leia was even more so amused. “A force bond.”

Lily and Jax looked at each other, now this was getting weirder.

“Uh we’re not…” Jax turned to Lily, “I mean it’s kind of the same thing, but our DNA is different but..” 

“As Jax said,” Lily explained, “Like you we have different DNA, but instead of being born with it, our DNA was warped by a phenomeon giving us one specific group of Superpowers, not a large set of abilities like Force users.” 

“Interesting,” Leia said, “It’s great to meet you both I’m Leia Skywalker Solo” Lilly had to admit hearing Leia refer to herself as “Leia Skywalker” Instead of Princess Leia, was something to get used to. “and you are?”

“Lily Stein,” Lilly answered.

Jax immediately started shaking Leia’s hand.

“It’s a huge honor to meet you, I mean I loved you in the movies,” He explained causing Leia to tilt her head, “I mean its different seeing you without the buns…”

“Movie? Buns?” Leia asked. Lilly mouthed We’ll explain later, causing the Jedi to nod, “Anyway, I am assuming you are here to fight the weird looking Stormtroopers.”

“Yes they are not supposed to be here,” Jax said, “They are kind of in the wrong time, we’re here to stop them.”

“I see,” Leia answered, “Well, assuming we are after the same thing, we should join forces, the rebellion could use some strong fighters like you.”

“Dude this is awesome,” Jax whispered to Lily, “Princess Leia wants us to fight with her. We should do it!”

Usually this would be an offer she would refused, but it’s honestly not every day the woman that made her want to go into Science in the first place was asking to fight with her.

“Okay we’ll help you!”

Leia was going to express her delight that her offer would be accept, however before she could open her mouth one of Nero’s Roman Soldiers who appeared out of no where. Cried “PUT DOWN YOUR WEAPONS”.

“Excuse me,” Leia said.

And with one clean slice she managed to strike down the enemy. 

“I am going to have to say,” Jax mused, “This is going to be our best team up yet.”

“Agreed,” Lilly said, “But lets Flame on before we start geeking out.”

This was by far going to be the best Adventure yet.
